# Connect your POS or store system to Leara

> Connect your POS to Leara so in-store sales share the same product, inventory, and order flows as your online and warehouse channels.

Connect your POS or store system to Leara so in-store sales become part of the same operational flow as your other channels. The POS handles the sale, payment, and receipt. Leara handles the operational commerce behind it: products, inventory, and orders.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Prepare the POS connection">
    Check whether an integration is available for your POS system and which flows it supports. Make sure you have admin access to approve the connection.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Align product data">
    The product sold in-store is the same product the customer sees online, but different systems may model it differently. Leara creates a richer product model in the middle, with support for variants, groups, attributes, images, brands, and suppliers. The POS receives only the information it needs.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect store inventory">
    Leara holds operational stock per store and warehouse location, using the same inventory view for reservations, picking, inbound deliveries, and stocktaking. This makes store stock a real part of the whole instead of an isolated number in the POS.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enable store fulfillment">
    When the store and warehouse work from the same platform, a web order can be picked from store stock or central warehouse. Orders can be split into partial deliveries and multiple orders can be grouped into the same pick round. Staff can use Leara's mobile apps for scanning, picking, inbound, stocktaking, and inventory work around the register.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify the first sales sync">
    Make a controlled test sale and confirm that the transaction updates inventory in Leara, the product maps correctly, and stock levels reflect the sale across connected locations.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What syncs

* **Products**: Product details flow from Leara to the POS based on what the register needs.
* **Inventory levels**: Store stock syncs into Leara's unified inventory view.
* **Sales and orders**: In-store sales update inventory and can feed into the shared order flow.

## Common problems

* **POS integration not yet available**: There are no integrations in this category yet. Contact Leara support to discuss your POS and timeline.
* **Product mismatch between systems**: Different product models across systems can cause mapping issues. Verify variant and article linking before going live.
* **Store stock not visible for web orders**: Check that the store location is included in the warehouse group feeding online availability.
