# Leara platform architecture: one data model in the middle

> How Leara sits between your business system and e-commerce, mirroring orders, stock, and product data against one enriched data model in real time.

Leara is a unified commerce platform built around one enriched data model. Your business system, e-commerce, and apps all mirror against Leara, rather than against each other in a chain. This page explains how the pieces fit together.

## Mirrored against Leara, not chained

In many setups, data flows through a chain such as PIM → e-commerce → POS → ERP. Each system can only carry the fields the weakest link supports. Leara avoids this by acting as the center: every connected system mirrors against Leara, so fields like variants, product groups, and attributes are not lost along the way.

## Hosting

Leara runs on AWS in Stockholm (eu-north-1), so your data is stored in the EU.
