# Shopify connection: sync products, customers, and orders

> How the Leara Shopify connection works: products and stock flow from Leara to your store, and customers and web orders flow back into the Leara order book.

The Shopify connection links Leara to your Shopify store. Leara is the master for product data and stock, and web orders from Shopify land in the Leara order book alongside orders from other channels.

## What syncs

| Data | Description |
| - | - |
| Products | Product data from Leara, including variants, attributes, and images, reaches your store |
| Customers | Shopify customers are available in Leara |
| Orders | Web orders are collected in Leara for picking and fulfillment |

## How orders are handled

Once a Shopify order is in Leara, it can be picked where the item is in stock, either in a warehouse or a store. Checkout and payment still happen in Shopify.
