Connect your shipping solution to Leara so you can book shipments, print labels, and track deliveries as part of your daily order workflow. With the right connection, sender details, and shipping services in place, you can move from a packed order to a sent parcel without switching systems.
1

Prepare the shipping connection

Check that an integration is available for your shipping solution and that you have the required account and contracts. Follow the connection guide for your solution. Required credentials and permissions vary by carrier.
2

Verify sender details

Review company name, sender address, and contact details. These should match the location the shipment is sent from. If you ship from multiple warehouses or stores, check how each sender is handled in the shipping solution and make sure the correct address is used for every shipment.
3

Set up shipping services

Start with the services you use most often. Check which services are available through the connection and your contracts, and what requirements they place on shipments. Make sure the delivery option the customer selects in the online store maps to the correct service at booking time. Do not assume similar names mean the services are linked automatically.
4

Prepare parcel details and labels

Find out what details are required for your shipments, such as weight, dimensions, and number of parcels. Decide how these will be captured and checked during packing. If the shipping solution provides labels, make sure they can be printed in the correct format with your equipment.
5

Test the full shipping flow

Run a controlled test from order to booking and label. Check whether the shipping solution offers a test mode first, since a real booking may incur costs or schedule a pickup. Verify that the correct shipping account and sender are used, the recipient address and contact details are correct, the service matches the intended delivery, weight, dimensions, and parcel count are accurate, the label prints and is readable, and the booking reference and any tracking information appear where you need them.

Common problems

  • Wrong service booked: Verify that the customer’s delivery choice maps to the correct carrier service. Manual selection may be needed if names differ.
  • Label does not print: Confirm the label format matches your printer setup.
  • Real booking during test: Always check for a test mode before trial bookings to avoid unexpected charges or pickups.
