Leara can read supplier price files so you can update product prices and keep your assortment aligned with current supplier terms. This reduces manual entry and helps you maintain accurate pricing across channels.

How it works

Price file import brings in pricing data from external sources. The exact format and fields supported depend on the supplier file and how the import is configured in Leara. Typically, the file is mapped to your product register using article numbers, and the system applies the new prices to the matching products.

Before you import

  • Confirm that the article numbers in the price file match the article numbers in Leara.
  • Review whether the file includes currencies, units, or validity dates that need to be handled.
  • Decide whether the imported prices should overwrite existing prices or be applied only to specific channels or customer groups.
  • Back up or note current prices if you need to revert changes.

After import

  • Verify a sample of updated products to confirm prices were applied correctly.
  • Check for unmatched article numbers and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Review how the updated prices flow to connected e-commerce and other channels.
If your price file uses a format or structure not yet supported, contact Leara support to discuss mapping options.
