Leara keeps one operational stock balance per warehouse and store so that sales, picking, receipts, and stock counts all work from the same picture. When an order comes in, stock is reserved at the right location. When goods are received or moved, the balance updates. This means fewer parallel registers and less manual work.

How stock changes

  • Orders reserve stock — when a customer order is created, Leara reserves the items at the assigned warehouse so the next sale uses the current available balance.
  • Receipts add stock — when you receive goods against a purchase order or as a standalone receipt, staff count what actually arrived. The balance updates only after the receipt is approved.
  • Transfers move stock — move goods between warehouses or stores. Leara tracks what has left, what is in transit, and what has arrived.
  • Stock counts correct stock — a completed stock count updates the operational balance so it matches what is physically on hand.

Smart receipts

With Smart Receipts, you can upload a delivery note, invoice, or packing list as a PDF or photo. Leara reads the document and matches lines against the product register. Anything that cannot be matched is flagged for review. The system never completes the receipt or changes stock on its own; you keep control.

Purchase suggestions

Leara can create purchase suggestions based on reorder points or existing orders, and let you create purchase orders for suppliers. This ties sales, stock, and replenishment into the same operational flow.
The mobile app supports scanning, picking, receipts, stock counts, and purchases. Android also supports hardware scanners via DataWedge on Zebra devices.
