Stock counts in Leara replace paper lists and manual spreadsheets with a single flow. Start the count in the web app, let your team scan and count on the warehouse floor or in the store, and finish when everything is verified. Multiple people can count together, and the app keeps working even without a network connection.

Start a stock count

1

Create the count in the web app

Log in at platform.leara.se, open Inventory (Lager), and start a new stock count. Choose whether to count the full warehouse or a partial selection.
2

Assign counters

Let team members open the count on their mobile devices. Several devices can work against the same count, and updates sync between them in real time.
3

Scan and count

Counters scan barcodes with the phone camera or a handheld scanner, then enter the counted quantity. The Android app also supports hardware scanners via DataWedge on Zebra devices.
4

Finish the count

When all items are counted, close the count in the web app. Leara verifies that all participating devices have sent their counts before allowing the finish, and each count has a unique operation ID so resending does not create duplicates.

Work offline when needed

Concrete walls, warehouse aisles, and weak Wi-Fi should not stop a count. Leara’s mobile apps save counts to the device and sync them when the network returns. Staff can keep working where the goods actually are instead of where the signal happens to be strongest.

Full or partial counts

Leara supports both full and partial stock counts. You can count the entire warehouse when needed, or limit the work to part of the assortment. This makes stocktaking a practical tool for ongoing control rather than a once-a-year event.

After the count

When the count is finished, the operational stock balance is updated. This same balance is used by orders, reservations, picks, and receipts, so warehouse work stays aligned. For Fortnox, there is also support for exporting the count result as part of the live integration.
